Reminder!!

This is your mid-week reminder that you are NOT defined by that grade on your test, by how many times you worked out this week, by the boy/girl who left you on read, or by the number of friends you have. Your worth is NOT in the number of classes you're taking, your weight on a scale, your relationship status, or even your friend group. You are called His, and nothing on this earth can make you more or less valuable than you already are. What's keeping you from believing that?

It's easy to define yourself by your day to day life. Everyday there are so many tasks to accomplish. Then there's the big goals that you seriously don't know if you'll ever be able to achieve. You get one step closer then look up and see that there's hundreds of more steps to climb to be where you want to be. Then you look to the people next to you and wonder, "Why can't I be there?" It can be tiring trying so hard to achieve something, and it can be painful when you think if you get to that certain "step" you'll be worthy, you'll be happy, or you'll have enough. But the truth is that you already have everything. Everything!

You have Jesus.

Let's rejoice in having everything while receiving Jesus's words that we are everything to him. Let's believe that we hold the highest status as sons and daughters of the king of kings and praise Him for that honor. Let's get up and dance because He's won the battle for us, and bow down in awe and gratitude at His great sacrifice. There is so much to be thankful today, and none of this comes from what you have or haven't done this week or this year. It all comes from the one who calls you beloved, one of a kind, worthy, and chose to give you everything.
