Intro: Nothing Can Separate You From God's Love!

Hey friends! Thank y'all for taking a few minutes to read my FIRST blog post!! First, I want to introduce myself for anyone who doesn't know me! I'm a freshman at UGA studying Human Development and Family Science, but my home is sweet little St. Simons Island! I love anything that involves coffee, dogs, or chill days with family or friends :) I'm passionate about showing people God's love, especially people with special needs. I have realized over time that I'm so passionate about that, because there are instances where special needs people can be overlooked, and I don't want them to miss out on God's love just because they are "different". Thinking about that made me want to start this encouragement for people, because really anyone can feel overlooked or feel like they can't obtain God's love, for whatever reason they have. Feeling like this can lead to someone not being saved, or just having days where they feel like God doesn't love them or God isn't for them. Whichever one you relate to, this blog is for you, because God still loves you no matter what boat you're in! My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:38-39 which says, "For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." If you made it to the end of that long sentence, I hope you are encouraged! Nothing can separate you from God's love! I feel like sometimes when we do something "wrong" or if our situation is not what we want, we can assume that God doesn't love us anymore, but this verse says that nothing can separate us from His love. So what makes us feel so far away? For me, I have realized that when I start to question if God loves me, I need to turn the question to do I still love Him? When I ask myself that I usually find the answer to why I feel far from His love, because I know that God's love for me is never-ending. And the same is true for you!

I want to go deeper into how much God loves everyone and how all of the promises in the Bible are true to you, no matter what you're ashamed of or what doubts you have, in my other posts. I also want it to be encouraging and relatable to everyone. If you have any suggestions for a blog post feel free to comment or contact me, because I want this to be as beneficial as possible. Also, if you don't know me I would love to get to know you, so feel free to message me too! And for everyone, subscribe if you want to be emailed weekly blog posts. All of y'all are amazing and so loved, and I can't wait to see what God does through this and in y'all!
